I have recently had the privilege of directing the Palestrina Choir at Ireland's Catholic Pro-Cathedral in Dublin while its Director is on maternity leave. I haven't conducted a boys' and men's choir for over thirty years so the experience has brought back many valuable memories of my work at Westminster Cathedral, and re-introduced me to the challenge of working with such a group. I again learned that while the choirmaster gets older the boys remain the same age with the same energy levels!!
